Unlike the previous Cricket movies like MS Dhoni and Azharudheen, Sachin is not a movie where entertainment is the priority. Sachin A Billion Dreams is pure cricket. The 2 hours 19 minutes movie tells about the India’s most favorite man Sachin Tendulkar. His magnificent journey from ‘a kid in Bombay’ to the ‘God of cricket’.

While Sachin may be a hero to billions, Director James Erskine’s stunning making is the hero of the film. The best part is that you don’t ever feel that it is a film. Rather, you feel that you are a part of the Sachin’s journey, or you are reliving the best part of 90’s. And the movie is not only about Sachin, it also tells about Indian cricket’s growth, the story of his teammates and more over about his ultra-charged fans, who have cheered him in his entire career.

The director has made so many electrifying moments for every Indian in the film. The movie will the give the feeling like watching Sachin’s batting from Mumbai Wankhede Stadium. In one word Sachin A Billion Dreams is a must watch movie on cricket, and whether you are a Sachin fan or not, you will be cheering Sachin… Sachin… while leaving the theaters.

Coming to the technical side, both the DOP and Editing are top-notch and help make the movie an engaging watch throughout. AR Rahman’s background score is perfect and the use of ‘Vande Mataram’ song during the World Cup final will make goosebumps.

The audience will confuse to choose who is the actual hero in this film, is it the Little Master Sachin, or is it Anjali, who builds up his man. Or director James Erskine who made Sachin on the silver screen. Go for it.
